Patsy Gallant - "Sugar Daddy" (1977)

Patsy Gallant released her english version of From New York To L.A. in September of 1977. Gallant's greatest pop success came when she teamed up with producer and manager Ian Robertson for the 1976 album Are You Ready For Love, which featured this disco hit. From New York to L.A. was Gallant's only recording to attract notice outside Canada; it became a hit in many other countries such as the UK (6), Ireland (5), Australia (10), the Netherlands (15), Norway (7), South Africa (5) and Sweden (17).
