I was flipping through some old photos and found one that I'd take of Doune Castle in Scotland. Inspired by the simplicity of the shape I decided to take my trusty little pebble and attempt to create the shape by pushing it around, a technique that I like to use but usually in a more random way. The next challenge was to add layers of color and pattern using the chaos of the pen lines. I'm using a combination of pigment ink, watercolour, gouache and watercolour pencil . #sketchbookpractice #cast
